Aim of the Foundation is to promote and disseminate scientific research as well as implement training and updating activities in the field of otorhinolaryngology, audiology and other related disciplines so as to maintain, increase and develop knowledge, expertise and performance of health care operators in these fields.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization operating at national and international level.

The Foundation plans to carry out the following activities:

• Promotion of basic and clinical research 
• Dissemination of scientific advances and new developments 
• Participation in international research  projects promoted and/or sponsored by the European Commission
• Organization of scientific conferences, seminars and workshops
• organization of ECM accredited teaching and traioning courses
• Awarding of international prizes and scholarship

Planning and implementation of these activities will avail itself of the co-operation of experts from the international scientific community.
