Amplifon has prepared a system aimed at guaranteeing completely successful application and also the highest goal in customer relations: total satisfaction.

This system provides for various phases, to fully understand all needs and to find the best solution:

  1. In-depth interview to appraise the client's needs, desires and level of motivation for using amplification as a means for improving communicative capacity.
  2. Complete audiometric test, outlining the hearing situation (limit of irritation and minimum hearing level) of the patient/client.
  3. Pondered proposal of a specific appliance, formulated by the hearing-aid specialist, according to a thorough analysis of the audiometric test and the client's needs.

After choosing the hearing-aid, it becomes all-important to adapt it to the user, because adjustment must be made to measure. In fact, not even the very best appliance can guarantee total satisfaction just on its own. Therefore, Amplifon has launched an exclusive procedure for custom application in phases, supported by computerized technologies:

  1. Examination of the everyday situations usually met with by the client, taking into consideration his perception of the quality of sound, understanding of speech in quiet surrounds and in background noise.
  2. Application and pre-adjustment of the hearing-aid according to the results of the audiometric test and living habits noted in the previous phase.
  3. Appraisal period for adjusting the appliances in order to assess their validity.
  4. Personalization: automatic adjustment of the main parameters to the needs expressed by the client during the previous phase. This operation can be repeated several times until the client is fully satisfied.
  5. The first phase of adjustment usually concludes after 4 weeks, at which time fine adjustments can be made to the single parameters. Adjustments can be made at any time according to the needs eventually shown by the client.
